The two contestants in the biking race are both fiercely competitive. The racers only have about a quarter of a mile left of the race to bike. The man who is in the lead is trying his hardest to maintain the small gap in between he and his opponent. His competitor, just behind him is feeling very nervous. The nervous make his muscles tense and make it much harder for him to continue biking fast. He knows that he has at least a few feet to make up before the finish. The people on the sidelines are cheering loudly, but neither man hears them. They are in their own world, in which pushing themselves as hard as they can is most important. The man in the front will continue to maintain the lead because he is more confident and biking with greater ease.
